The Opportunity

Club Christ Ministries is searching for an inspiring Executive Director (ED) who has a heart for youth in urban communities and a successful track record of expanding and developing faith-based organizations.

The ED will lead CCM into its next phase of growth and influence by implementing and articulating the vision for the organization as it continues to profoundly impact youth in the urban communities of Las Vegas. The ED will focus on building a team of support for this fast growing non-profit. The ED works hand-in-hand with the Board of Directors to achieve agreed outcomes in all CCM’s functions and activities.

The ED is responsible for fulfilling the mission of CCM and implementing its strategic direction, ensuring that resources are in place to accomplish important mission goals, recruiting and retaining staff, keeping volunteer teams motivated, and building the kind of culture which supports the CCM mission. The ED will expand and amplify CCM’s visibility and create opportunities for significant strategic partnerships and financial support. The ED will build relationships with corporate, nonprofit, government, and funding communities by, among other things, representing the organization at strategic functions and influential speaking opportunities.

The Organization

Club Christ Ministries (CCM) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been serving students from K-12th grade in the Las Vegas valley since 2004 with a mission to empower urban youth to transform their communities for Christ.

Founded by Evan Hartsell, Club Christ Ministries (CCM) has established a unique model of programs and activities – from tutoring to Bible Study, service projects to field trips – that are designed to challenge and prepare young people for a future of leadership and achievement. CCM has developed a K–12 curriculum that continues inspiring over 120 young people in 4 learning centers in the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas to embrace and incorporate God’s word in their lives. Uniquely based out of apartment complexes, CCM’s programs are accessible to urban youth to help them stay engaged academically and achieve their dreams of attending college.

The Community

Las Vegas, Nevada is known to many as one of the premier entertainment capitals of the world, renowned for its expansive selection of shopping, dining, nightlife, and live entertainment. These amenities provide unique experiences and broad exposure to cultures from around the world.

But beyond the glittering lights of the city’s main tourism quarters, the Las Vegas valley offers quiet residential neighborhoods that house Clark County’s two million residents. The locals who call Las Vegas home enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year, and can take advantage of easy access to camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing.

Other community favorites include sporting events, festivals, farmer’s markets, golf courses, botanical gardens, and local museums. With churches on nearly every corner, Las Vegas has a thriving faith community and vast opportunities for ministry. Las Vegas makes a great city to raise a family.
