Through professional medical services, education, advocacy, and practical support, Assured seeks to empower individuals to make informed decisions while experiencing the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
Located in the greater Orlando area, Assured Women's Healthcare provides a comprehensive range of services designed to care for both the physical and emotional needs of clients. Services include pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, options education, parenting support, community referrals, and ongoing client care in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment.
As a growing ministry with increasing community impact, Assured is entering an exciting new season of strategic growth. The Opportunity
The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight for Assured Women's Healthcare, ensuring excellence across ministry programs, staff leadership, donor development, financial stewardship, and community engagement.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will serve as the chief organizational leader responsible for advancing the mission, executing strategic initiatives, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring long-term organizational sustainability.
This role requires a leader who combines strong nonprofit management skills with a deeply rooted Christian faith, a passion for the sanctity of human life, and the ability to inspire others toward a shared vision.
The ideal candidate will be a relational leader who thrives in both strategic and hands-on environments, capable of leading staff, engaging donors, cultivating partnerships, and representing the ministry with excellence throughout the community.
Key Leadership Priorities:
Organizational Leadership
Provide overall leadership and direction for the ministry while ensuring alignment with mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
Strategic Growth
Lead the implementation of long-range planning initiatives designed to increase ministry effectiveness, community impact, and organizational sustainability.
Donor Development
Cultivate meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors while developing sustainable fundraising strategies that support future growth.
Community Engagement
Serve as the primary ambassador for Assured throughout the Orlando region by building partnerships with churches, healthcare providers, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
Team Development
Recruit, develop, coach, and empower a high-performing staff culture characterized by collaboration, accountability, excellence, and spiritual maturity.
Board Partnership
Work closely with the Board of Directors to establish strategic priorities, communicate organizational progress, and ensure effective governance practices.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration
Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the organization
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members
Foster a healthy organizational culture grounded in Christian values
Establish measurable goals and performance standards
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate operational, financial, client, and organizational records
Develop annual ministry objectives in partnership with the Board
Provide regular reporting and organizational updates to the Board of Directors
Facilitate strategic planning initiatives and organizational development efforts
Financial Stewardship
Develop and manage the annual operating budget
Ensure responsible financial oversight and accountability
Partner with the Treasurer and Board regarding financial planning and reporting
Monitor organizational performance and resource allocation
Maintain financial systems that support long-term sustainability
Development & Advancement
Lead donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management efforts
Expand and strengthen the organization's fundraising capacity
Develop and execute annual development strategies
Identify and pursue grant opportunities
Oversee donor communications and engagement initiatives
Partner with development staff and volunteers to increase donor participation
Represent Assured at fundraising events and community gatherings
Community Relations & Public Engagement
Serve as the public representative and spokesperson for the organization
Build relationships with pastors, churches, and ministry leaders
Strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
Increase awareness of Assured's mission throughout Central Florida
Engage media, civic leaders, and community stakeholders when appropriate
Champion the organization's life-affirming mission and values
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate a combination of spiritual maturity, executive leadership capability, fundraising effectiveness, and organizational management expertise.
Required Qualifications
Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a vibrant and growing faith
Demonstrated alignment with the Statement of Faith and life-affirming mission of Assured Women's Healthcare
Passionate advocate for the sanctity of human life
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Proven leadership experience within nonprofit, ministry, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations
Experience leading staff, volunteers, and organizational initiatives
Strong financial management and budgeting skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and constituencies
Experience working collaboratively with boards, committees, or governing bodies
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in Business, Nonprofit Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Ministry, Public Administration, or related field
Executive leadership experience within a nonprofit organization
Demonstrated fundraising and donor development success
Experience leading strategic planning initiatives
Knowledge of pregnancy medical clinics, healthcare environments, or family support ministries
Grant writing and grant management experience
Experience working within a faith-based organization
