CHURCH

Parkview started as a church plant with a handful of people and has grown to a vibrant and growing nondenominational church located in the beautiful planned community of Palm Coast, FL. Every weekend, a little over a thousand people attend service to experience a Gospel-centered, life-giving worship service. Parkview Church is a theologically conservative church (SBC) with a progressive methodology of worship and ministry.

Parkview’s vision is simple, “Guiding people to life change in Christ.” From the very beginning, the church has had a strong reputation in the community and is poised to take the next step, which will expand its impact and its commitment for the next generation. With these endeavors in mind, Parkview is excited to welcome its next Children's Pastor into a dedicated and tenured team, as they enter into this next season in the life of the church.

Mission

To mission of Parkview Church “Guiding people to life change in Christ”

Beliefs

God- There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Revelation- God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.

Mankind- Humans, both male and female, were created in God’s image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God’s creations.

The Fall- When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.

Salvation- Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and no, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

The Church- The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Resurrection- Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God’s kingdom on earth.

Ministry Programming

The following is a concise overview of the ministries at Parkview Church.

Children

Parkview has an incredible space for their weekly children’s ministry and is excited about expanding that space in the near future. The goal of Parkview’s children's ministry is to create a partnership with parents and to resource them to see children come into a life changing relationship with Jesus! The Parkview children’s ministry team is passionate about providing a safe place that provides age-appropriate, fun, and creative ways to experience the teachings of the Bible. There are three creative environments designed for children 6 weeks- 6th grade.

Students

At Parkview, their desire is to see students not only grow in their relationship with God but actually be equipped to be the spiritual leaders of tomorrow. This is done through ‘OverFlo’ Student Nights every Sunday at 6:00pm at the Palm Coast location. OverFlo is a night that includes games, music, food, groups, and solid teaching. Parkview is dedicated to providing a safe space for students to connect with God, committed leaders, and other students.

Group Life

Parkview believes life change happens best in the context of community. Life Groups are designed to help people become connected to others and to take their relationship with God to the next level. Life Groups are provided in groups of similar age, interest, life stage and/or family structure. Parkview seeks to create an authentic biblical community through life groups, that exists to love and serve each other and to connect people to help them grow in their walk with God.

Helps Ministries

Parkview’s Helps Ministries offer "help" to those who are hurting, confused or just need support. Parkview believes just because you are a Christian does not mean you are immune to life's challenges, struggles and times of crisis. Their team provides a variety of ways for people to grow personally, spiritually and emotionally through Emmanuel’s Closet, Deaf Ministry, Food Pantry, and Pastoral Care.

Missions

In addition to serving on Sunday mornings and weekdays within the walls of the church, the Parkview community extends the same attention to its local, and global partners. They seek to mobilize the church to meet those needs with the love of Christ in partnership with over 12 local and international missionaries and organizations. The church also assembles short term national and international efforts to take the Gospel to the unreached people of the world. No matter how God has wired or gifted you, Parkview believes you can use those skills to bring life change to your city, state, and to your world.

Weekend Programming

At Parkview, one will discover an authentic group of real people dedicated to following Jesus Christ. In this environment filled with growth and anticipation, a heartfelt greeting is a key part of the Sunday experience. It further offers a casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. Packed with engaging worship along with a time of Gospel centered teaching, exploring, understanding and applying its truth to life, both guests and attendees will find a ‘home’ at Parkview.
